PrimaLoft® Bio™ is the first 100% recycled synthetic fabric that biodegrades* into natural components specifically developed to tackle the huge problem of microplastics in the environment. Its unique formula allows the fibres to rapidly and naturally decompose once they are exposed to specific microbes found in oceans, landfills and wastewater. This means that the fabric and isolation degrade naturally, leaving behind components such as water, CO2, methane, biomass and humus - a natural component of soil. At the same time, it can give the various products spectacular lightness and softness, very similar to the effect of down. Thanks to these characteristics, PrimaLoft® Bio™ is an innovative product that offers optimal performance similar to natural raw materials without compromising sustainability.
