Nomite is an international label, based on scientific research, which identifies those feather and down products of high quality, which are suitable for persons allergic to domestic dust. Down duvets and down pillows create perfect conditions for your restful sleep but adverse conditions for mites, who prefer humidity. Further protection against the occurrence and dissemination of mites is given by the down-proof fabric, which due to its density inhibits the passing through of the mites.

Together with EDFA (European Down and Feather Association) DauenStep is engaged in guaranteeing the right treatment of geese. DaunenStep only uses downs and feathers from certified breeding-farms, those where expert hands know how and when to collect downs and feathers in complete respect for the animals and in accordance with the German TÜV regulations. 


Oeko-Tex 100 confidence in textiles. Oekotex standard 100 is the most important ecological label for textiles in the world.Products with this label have been analysed by one of the international institutes for research and tests in the field of textile ecology which guarantees that they are innocuous to human health.


IDFB is a worldwide Association of the Down and Feather Industry (Processing of raw material and/or production of finished articles, filled with feather and down), Down and Feather Trade and independent Testing Institutes for Down and Feathers.
